K-9 Ash Leads Troopers To 56 Grams Of PCP During I-87 Traffic Stop: NYSP
The passenger was arrested and charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to NYSP.

TOWN OF ULSTER, NY — A K-9 named "Ash" helped troopers take a stash of potentially dangerous drugs off the streets, according to NYSP.
The New York State Police say that on October 19, around 3:46 a.m., troopers from Albany pulled over a 2016 Honda heading north on I-87, near exit 19 in the town of Ulster.
After troopers stopped the Honda, they spoke to the driver, identified as a 19-year-old man from Kingston, and to the front-seat passenger, 19-year-old Kevin A. Campagne, of Hyde Park.

After an exterior sniff of the Honda, NYSP K-9 Ash alerted troopers for the presence of narcotics.
A search led to troopers findng around 56 grams of PCP on Campagne's person.

Searches of the driver and the vehicle yielded negative results, according to state police.
The driver was issued several vehicle/traffic violations.
Campagne was arrested and taken to State Police Kingston for processing. He was charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (intent to sell), and felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (1250 mg or more).
Campagne was arraigned at the Ulster County Central Arraignment Part of the Town of Ulster Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ulster Court on October 28.
