K9 Kell Catches Wind Of Narcotics During Thruway Traffic Stop: NYSP
A search revealed over 800 grams of cocaine, one gram of fentanyl, a digital scale, packaging materials, and $1,900 cash, troopers said.

TOWN OF LLOYD, NY — K9 Officer Kell has had a busy and productive week, according to New York State Police.
State police say that on Thursday, at 9:09 p.m., troopers from the NYSP Troop F Community Stabilization Unit conducted a traffic stop on a 2024 Buick traveling north on the NYS Thruway, in the town of Lloyd, for traffic law violations.

During the stop, troopers spoke to the driver, identified as 57-year-old Teddy Pulliam, of Schenectady.
NYSP K9 Kell conducted an exterior search of the vehicle and alerted troopers to the presence of illegal narcotics, police said.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of over 800 grams of cocaine, one gram of fentanyl, a digital scale, packaging materials, and over $1,900 in cash, according to NYSP.
Pulliam was arrested and taken to State Police Highland for processing.
He was charged with felony first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony third-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, misdemeanor seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia (packaging), misdemeanor second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia (scales), and multiple violations of vehicle/traffic law.
Pulliam was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Court Centralized Arraignment Part and remanded to Ulster County Jail.
