K9 Kell Sniffs Out Cocaine In BMW On I-87, Passenger From Upstate Arrested: NYSP
Troopers report finding around 104 grams of cocaine, during the stop in Plattekill.

PLATTEKILL, NY — New York State Police say that on August 7, around 4:04 p.m., members of the Troop F Community Stabilization Unit (CSU) saw a 2011 BMW traveling north on I-87, in the town of Plattekill, in violation of several traffic laws.
After a traffic stop was initiated, troopers interviewed both the 33-year-old male driver, and the front seat passenger, 54-year-old Keita Williams, both of Schenectady.
During the stop, NYSP K9 Kell sniffed around the exterior of the BMW and alerted officers to the presence of narcotics, police said.

A search of Williams led to troopers finding around 104 grams of cocaine, while a search of the vehicle yielded no additional contraband.
Williams was arrested without incident, and taken to State Police Highland for processing. He was charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (intent to sell), and felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He was arraigned on Friday, at the Ulster County Centralized Arraignment Part, and remanded to the Ulster County Jail, pending a future court appearance.
