Liquor Store Robbery With 2 Kids In Vehicle Leads To 4 Arrests: NYSP
After being pulled over, the 24-year-old driver became combative and physically assaulted the trooper, according to state police.

HIGHLAND, NY — A chaotic scene at a Hudson Valley shop came to a sad end, with children put in a precarious situation, according to state police.
New York State Police say that on July 30, around 8:40 p.m., troopers were dispatched to a liquor store on Route 9W in Highland, after receiving a report of a robbery.
On the way to the address, troopers saw a Nissan Murano, believed to have been involved in the robbery, headed west on Route 44/55. Police stopped the car with four adults and two children inside.

While a trooper was talking to the driver, identified as 24-year-old Selena Fonda Bressendorff, of Wallkill, she became combative and physically assaulted the trooper, according to state police.
Further investigation found that the woman, 22-year-old Jahnya Bressendorff, of Wallkill; 20-year-old Jennifer A. Robertson, of Wallkill; and an 18-year-old were in the liquor store when Robertson got into a physical altercation with an employee before leaving the store.

All four were taken in for processing.
Selena Fonda Bressendorff was charged with felony second-degree robbery (aided by another), felony second-degree assault (intent to cause injury to officer/fireman/EMT/nurse/crossing guard), felony fourth-degree conspiracy (conspire to perform a class B or C felony), two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanor petit larceny, misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, misdemeanor second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and uniform traffic tickets.
Jahnya Bressendorff was charged with felony second-degree robbery (aided by another), felony fourth-degree conspiracy (conspire to perform a class B or C felony), two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanor petit larceny, and misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Jennifer A. Robertson was charged with felony second-degree robbery (aided by another), felony fourth-degree conspiracy (conspire to perform a class B or C felony), felony tampering with physical evidence (conceal/destroy), two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanor petit larceny, and misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
The 18-year-old, whose name was not given, was charged with felony second-degree robbery (aided by another), felony fourth-degree conspiracy (conspire to perform a class B or C felony), two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanor petit larceny, and misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
All four were arraigned in Ulster County Jail CAP Court on July 31, and remanded to the Ulster County Jail.
Both children were handed over to the care of a third party.
State police were assisted at the scene by the Marlborough Police Department and the Lloyd Police Department.
