Man, Juvenile Arrested For Stealing Cash, Golf Carts From Golf Course
The incident took place last summer at the Turtle Creek Golf Course, in the Town of Plattekill, according to the Ulster County Sheriff.

TOWN OF PLATTEKILL, NY — After a monthslong investigation into a a theft at a golf course, police have made two felony arrests.
Ulster County Sheriff's Office detectives say that a 38 year-old Marlboro man and a Plattekill juvenile have been arrested for burglary and grand larceny.
On July 7, 2024, deputies responded to the Turtle Creek Golf Course, in the Town of Plattekill, after receiving a report of a burglary involving stolen money and golf carts.

After a nine-month investigation into the thefts, detectives identified and arrested Frank Beckett Jr. and a juvenile from Plattekill.
On March 25, Beckett voluntarily surrendered himself at the Ulster County Law Enforcement Center. The juvenile, accompanied by his parents, turned himself in on Monday.

Both were charged with felony third-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny.
They were released with an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Plattekill Justice Court on a future date.
