Man And Woman Entered Hudson Valley Home, Attacked Woman Leading To Head, Neck Injuries: Police

ELLENVILLE, NY — Arrests have been made in a violent attack at an Ulster County home, according to police.

The Ellenville Police Department says that on Nov. 17, around 8:45 p.m., officers responded to a report about two suspects who entered a home and assaulted the occupant.

Ellenville rescue rushed the victim to Ellenville Regional Hospital, where she was treated for head and neck injuries.

After a search for the two suspects over a few days, both were arrested on Nov. 20, with the help of the New York State Police BCI from Ellenville and Monroe.

Police say 25-year-old Michael Ajanovic, of Napanoch, and 27-year-old Miranda Ajanovic, of Monroe, were both charged.

Michael Ajanovic was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree assault, and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Miranda Ajanovic was charged with second-degree stangulation, third-degree assault, and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Both were arraigned in CAP Court and were scheduled to return to the Town of Wawarsing Court. The Ulster County District Attorney's Office assisted in the investigation.
