Middletown Man Accused Of Having Sex With Child

MIDDLETOWN, NY — A Middletown man was accused of having sex with a child.

The New York State Police said Tuesday that Liberio Nieto, 28, of the city of Middletown, was arrested and charged with predatory sexual assault of a child, a felony.

Troopers working in conjunction with the Orange County Child Protective Services said they received allegations about an adult man engaging in sexual contact with a child less than 13 years old.

Nieto was processed at the Middletown barracks and arraigned in the City of Middletown Court.

He was sent to the Orange County Jail until his next court date on Friday.
