Million-Dollar Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley

To win the $1 million second prize, a customer had to correctly choose all five numbers, but no Mega Ball.

NEWBURGH, NY — Someone bought a Mega Millions ticket in the Hudson Valley that is worth quite a lot of money.

The New York Lottery said one second-prize-winning ticket — worth $1 million — was sold in New York for the Nov. 17 drawing.

The ticket was purchased at Smokes 4 Less located at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh.

Winning numbers for the Nov. 17 Mega Millions drawing are 6-12-31-33-69, with a Mega Ball of 17, according to the New York Lottery website.

To win the second prize, a customer would have to correctly choose all five numbers, without the Mega Ball.

The winning numbers for the Mega Millions game are drawn from a field of one to 70. The Mega Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 25.

Mega Millions drawings are televised every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.
