Monroe Resident Accused Of Having Sex With Child
Police said the man engaged in sexual contact with a child less than 15 years of age.
MONROE, NY — Police accused an Orange County man of having sex with a child who was less than 15 years old.
The New York State Police arrested Sergio Lucero, 40, of the village of Monroe, on Sunday and charged him with second-degree criminal sex act, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

An investigation was conducted by state police in conjunction with Orange County Child Protective Services regarding allegations that Lucero engaged in sexual contact with a child less than 15 years of age.

He was arraigned in court and sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.
