Newburgh Man Accused Of Having Sex With 14-Year-Old
State police said anyone who feels they may have been a victim of the man should call them.

NEWBURGH, NY — A city of Newburgh man was accused of having sex with a 14-year-old child.
The New York State Police Troop F Bureau of Criminal Investigation said Tuesday that Christopher Johnson, 32, of the city of Newburgh, was arrested Thursday after an investigation by the SP Montgomery BCI, the City of Newburgh Police Department Detective Squad and the Orange County District Attorney’s office.
He was arraigned in the City of Middletown Court and charged with second-degree criminal sexual act, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

Johnson was sent to the Orange County Jail on $25,000 bail or $75,000 secured bond.
He is scheduled to appear in the Town of New Windsor Court Wednesday for the purpose of a felony hearing.

State police said that anyone who feels they may have been a victim of Johnson or knows of someone who may have been a victim is asked to call the New York State Police, SP Montgomery BCI at 845-457-1388.
