Newburgh Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Children
The state police are asking for others who may have been victims to come forward.

NEWBURGH, NY — A 31-year-old town of Newburgh man was accused of sexually assaulting children.
The New York State Police said Thursday Eric Vazquez, 31, of Newburgh, was arrested and charged with two counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, a felony, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

The Orange County Child Abuse Unit in conjunction with Child Protective Services said he was arrested after an investigation found he sexually assaulted minors under the age of 13.

Vazquez was arraigned in Orange County Court and sent to the Orange County Jail.
Police said anyone who believes they may have been a victim of Vazquez or knows someone who may have been a victim is asked to call the state police at 845-344-5300. Please reference SJS# 1094563.
