Newburgh Man Accused Of Stabbing 2 In The Face Turns Himself In: PD
The double stabbing took place in the early morning hours of Dec. 1, on Raymond Avenue, in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department said that a Newburgh man has been arrested after an investigation into a double stabbing incident that took place last month.
On December 1, around 4:23 a.m., police responded to a business on Raymond Ave. after a report of a stabbing.
Once on the scene, officers found two people who had been stabbed in the face. They were taken to local hospitals with serious physical injuries.

After an investigation by detectives, 29-year-old Marquis N. Thompson was identified as the suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On Tuesday, Thompson turned himself in at police headquarters. He was arrested and arraigned in the Town of Poughkeepsie Justice Court, where he was remanded to the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center, in lieu of $30,000 cash bail, $60,000 secured bond, or $200,000 partially secured bond.
