Northern Dutchess Hospital Hosts Annual Golf Classic Fundraiser

Approximately 150 golfers gathered at Red Hook Golf Club on Friday, May 13 to support the hospital's delivery of care.

About 150 golfers gathered at Red Hook Golf Club to support Northern Dutchess Hospital’s delivery of care.

More than $40,000 was raised at the 37th annual Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation Golf Classic. The 18-hole, four-person team scramble began with a shotgun start on Friday, May 13. The players were treated to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Special activities included an organic beer tasting, awards ceremony, raffles, ring toss and putting contest.

The top-scoring men’s and women’s teams were Dr. Michael Moses, Dr. Scott Kahn, David Kabat and Jason Balonick, along with Kelly Mosher, Sharon Maurer, Rita Perkins and Elaina Aierstok.

“We had generous sponsors and a terrific group of players and volunteers, who didn’t let afternoon rain spoil the fun,” NDH Foundation Executive Director Dawn Morrison said. “Thank you to everyone who made this year’s classic a grand slam.”

“You can’t beat a day on the fairway fundraising with friends for a hospital that provides great care for our community,” tournament chairman Keith Reichelt said.
