Pleasant Valley Man Accused Of Having Illegal Firearms

Police said they executed a search warrant at the man's home.

PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — A Pleasant Valley man was accused of illegally having two loaded firearms.

The New York State Police said Rodney W. Lewis, 69, of Pleasant Valley was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies.

Around 1:45 p.m. Monday, troopers executed a search warrant at Lewis’s residence, resulting in the seizure of two loaded illegal firearms.

He was arraigned in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail.
