Poughkeepsie Police Investigating 2 Separate Incidents Of Shots Fired
Multiple patrol units and detectives were sent to the scenes, authorities said.
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — City police in Poughkeepsie are investigating a report of shots fired Monday.
The City of Poughkeepsie PBA said a call was received around 9:20 a.m. Monday about shots fired in the area of Flannery Avenue.
Multiple patrol units and detectives were sent to the scene, but no victims were located, police said.

Later on Monday, around 8:25 p.m. a call to 911 was received concerning shots fired in the area of North White Street.
Multiple patrol units were sent to the area but were unable to locate any evidence.

Around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, a follow-up investigation found several spent shell casings and a bullet strike to the front door of a residence.
Police said investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
