Poughkeepsie Woman Arrested For Selling Fentanyl, Meth: Police

Police said the woman is facing a felony drug possession with intent to sell charge.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A Dutchess County woman was accused of peddling fentanyl and crystal meth out of a local hotel.

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force said Marissa Green, 31, of the town of Poughkeepsie, was arrested and charged Monday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, with intent to sell, a felony.

She was later released and ordered to appear in the Town of Poughkeepsie Justice Court March 6 for arraignment.

Authorities said, on Monday, Task Force agents executed a search warrant at the Red Roof Plus Hotel in the town of Poughkeepsie after an ongoing investigation by the Task Force into fentanyl and other drug sales in the area.

During the search warrant, Green was found to be in possession of fentanyl, cocaine and crystal methamphetamine.
