Powerball Ticket Worth $50,000 Sold In Hudson Valley

There were two other third-prize winning tickets sold in New York as well.

MONTICELLO, NY — One of three $50,000 third-prize winning tickets for the Oct. 17 Powerball drawing was sold in the Hudson Valley.

New York Lottery officials said one of the tickets was purchased at the Mobil gas station on East Broadway in Monticello.

The two others were sold at the 7-Eleven store on Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack and Mary’s Express and Deli on Skillman Avenue in Woodside.

The three tickets each match four numbers plus the Powerball.

Winning numbers for the Oct. 17 drawing were 19-30-36-46-60, with a Powerball of 25, according to the New York Lottery website.

Powerball numbers are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

The Powerball drawing is held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.

Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated $508 million, according to lottery officials.
