Single-Car Fatal Crash In Orange County

State police said the only occupant of the car was a man from Pennsylvania.

GREENVILLE, NY — A Pennsylvania man was killed in a single-car crash in Orange County.

The New York State Police said, around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, troopers from the Greenville barracks were sent to Interstate 84 westbound in the town of Greenville for a report of a car involved in a single-vehicle crash.

When they arrived, troopers said they saw a damaged 2006 Acura RSX that was off the roadway.

As they approached the car, they found that the only occupant had been ejected from the vehicle.

Troopers evaluated the driver’s injuries and began lifesaving measures.

Port Jervis EMS arrived and determined the man had died of his injuries.

He was identified as Christopher Martini, 34, of Matamoras, Pennsylvania.

Police said the investigation is still under investigation.
