Slumped Over In A Car With Glass Pipes, Brass Knuckles, Drugs: NYSP
Two suspects were arrested in a compromising situation in the Stewart's parking lot in Hyde Park, according to New York State Police.

HYDE PARK, NY — A suspicious car became even more suspicious after troopers began investigating, according to state police.
New York State Police say that 34-year-old Zachary R. Higgins, of Staatsburg, was arrested on Saturday for fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon; and received other tickets for vehicle and traffic violations.
Around 9:22 p.m., troopers saw a car in the Stewart's parking lot on Route 9G, in Hyde Park, with two people slumped over the center console.

While police spoke with the driver, later identified as Higgins, a white crystalline substance was seen on the center console. In addition, glass pipes, a pair of brass knuckles and a plastic bag with a white substance were found inside the vehicle.
Higgins was arraigned in Pleasant Valley Town Court and was due to report to Dutchess County Probation on Monday.
