Taconic Stop Leads To Felony Drug Arrest Of Bronx Woman: NYSP

New York State Police said they found that the driver was in possession of an estimated 9.2 grams of cocaine.

TOWN OF LAGRANGE, NY — A traffic stop in the Hudson Valley led to the discovery of a felonious amount of cocaine, according to New York State Police

The NYSP say that on Sunday, troopers arrested 27-year-old Angelica M. Vico, of the Bronx, for felony fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The arrest took place after a trooper from SP Poughkeepsie conducted a traffic stop on a 2024 Toyota on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of LaGrange, for multiple traffic violations.

Once the driver was identified, an investigation found that Vivo was in possession of an estimated 9.2 grams of cocaine.

She was arrested and taken to SP Poughkeepsie for processing and was scheduled to appear in the Town of LaGrange Court on Tuesday.
