Third-Prize-Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In Mid-Hudson Valley
There were four tickets, each worth $50,000, purchased in New York for the Dec. 16 drawing.
NEWBURGH, NY — There were four third-prize-winning Powerball tickets for the Dec. 16 drawing sold in New York, with one of them in the mid-Hudson Valley.
New York Lottery officials said the tickets — each worth $50,000 — were purchased at:
- Smokes 4 Less, 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh
- 1 Marina Deli, 416 Pelham Road in New Rochelle
- Tops Markets #021, 5827 S. Transit Road in Lockport
- Tyan Gas Bay Shore Corp., 645 E. Main St. in Bay Shore
Winning numbers for the Dec. 16 Powerball drawing are 3-9-10-20-62 with a Powerball of 25, according to the New York Lottery website.

To win a third prize, customers must have chosen four of the numbers with the Powerball number.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
