Ulster Man Accused Of Hypodermic Needle Assault

Police said the hypodermic syringe was used during a domestic dispute.

HIGHLAND, NY — An Ulster County man was accused of sticking another person several times with a hypodermic needle.

The Town of Lloyd Police Department said Jake Holt, 18, of Highland, was arrested Saturday and charged with third-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, misdemeanors.

Authorities said, during a domestic dispute, Holt stuck another person several times in the body with a hypodermic syringe.

He was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Justice Court and released.

Hold it scheduled to return to court Thursday.
