United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region Receives Grant for $5K

From the United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region:

The Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation recently awarded United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region a grant for $5,000.

The Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation’s grant will support United Way’s Early Education Coalition program, which aims to fight the low levels of childhood literacy in Dutchess and Orange counties by collaborating with other nonprofits, businesses, public sector agencies and community members to share resources, develop best practices and find creative solutions to serve the greater community.

“We are delighted that Ulster Savings Bank Foundation recognizes the work that United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region is doing to promote childhood education,” stated Jeannie Montano, President & CEO. “We greatly appreciate their support of the early education coalition and its work.”
