Unwanted Guest With Lighter Poured Gas On Apartment Building: Police
Detectives, crime scene techs, the Hudson Valley Arson Task Force, ATF and an accelerant detection K9 from Rockland County were on scene.

CITY OF POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A guest who overstayed his welcome, reacted poorly to being asked to leave, according to police.
The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department says that on Friday, around 6:45 p.m., City 911 received a report of a man refusing to leave an apartment on Rose Street.
Police say he was seen pouring gasoline onto the building before fleeing inside.

Officers responding to the scene saw the man, later identified as 68-year-old Logio Hernandez-Quevedo, holding a disposable lighter near the entrance of the apartment.
Cops then took him into custody.

Hernandez-Quevedo was charged with second-degree arson, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree attempted criminal mischief, and second-degree burglary. He was processed at police headquarters and held pending arraignment.
Detectives, crime scene technicians, members of the Hudson Valley Arson Task Force, ATF, and an accelerant detection K9 from the Rockland County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene to investigate.
The City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department evacuated and ventilated the building.
