Wappinger Woman Stabs Someone In The Leg, Flees From Police: NYSP
Police also said they found illegal drugs in the woman's Honda.
WAPPINGER, NY — A Dutchess County woman was accused of stabbing someone in the leg during a domestic incident and then making the police chase after her.
The New York State Police said, shortly after midnight Monday, troopers from the Wappingers barracks were sent to a home on Cady Lane for a domestic incident.
They were told that someone was stabbed in the leg during the altercation and were provided a description of the suspect.

As troopers approached the home, they said they saw a gray 2016 Honda Accord fleeing the scene, fitting the description of the suspect.
Tro0pers stopped the vehicle on Myers Corners Road and identified the driver as Wilmary Rosa, 37, of the town of Wappinger.

While speaking to the troopers, she put her Honda in drive and and fled from the scene turning off her headlights and reaching a speed of 70 mph, police said.
Rosa traveled over numerous roads in Wappinger and the town of Poughkeepsie, before coming to a stop in back of a home in the village of Wappingers Falls.
Authorities said she refused to get out of the car and was eventually removed by troopers and taken into custody without incident.
After the car was impounded, it was searched. Troopers said they found multiple quantities of illegal controlled substances.
An investigation found that Rosa had a verbal and physical fight with a former domestic partner, at which point she stabbed the person in the leg numerous times.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Rosa was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanors.
She was also issued 29 vehicle and traffic law tickets.
Rosa was arraigned in the Town of Wappinger Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail and $20,000 bond.
