Woman Dies In Custody At Orange County Jail

GOSHEN, NY — A woman in custody at the Orange County Jail died Saturday.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday the 40-year-old woman died of unknown causes.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death, according to a news release.

The administration and staff of the sheriff’s office said they are working in conjunction with the state attorney general’s office on the continuing investigation.
