Wooden Cross Set Ablaze In Arson At Kingston Church: PD
An arson investigation is underway, according to police.
KINGSTON, NY — An 8-foot-tall wooden cross in front of the CrossRoads Christian Fellowship Church was set on fire early Wednesday.
The arson fire started around 4:06 a.m. Wednesday, according to police.
Police said they are still searching for whoever is responsible.

The cross, which is located near some exterior shrubbery at the Albany Avenue church, was the only thing damaged, according to police.
The Kingston Fire Department extinguished the flames before the fire could spread and cause any further damage.

The New York State Arson Task Force, Kingston Fire Department, and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are assisting local police with the investigation.
