Lincoln Tunnel Bus Crash: At Least 32 Hurt, FDNY Says
Two NJ Transit buses crashed Friday morning.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Two NJ Transit buses crashed Friday morning in the Lincoln Tunnel in Manhattan, injuring dozens of people, an FDNY spokesman said.
The buses crashed outside the center tube of the tunnel shortly after 10 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said. At least 32 injuries have been confirmed, the spokesman said shortly after the crash. Of those injured, 25 suffered minor injuries and seven suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries, an FDNY spokesman said.
Two of the injured were transported to St. Luke's hospital, an FDNY spokesman said.

Both buses involved in the crash were operated by NJ Transit, a spokeswoman for the transit agency said. NJ Transit bus 165, which was carrying 35 passengers, rear ended NJ Transit bus 193, which was carrying 25 passengers, an NJ Transit spokeswoman said. Both buses were exiting the tunnel on the Manhattan side during the collision, the spokeswoman said.
NJ Transit bus 193 originated out of Wayne, New Jersey and bus 165 originated out of Oradell, New Jersey, the agency spokeswoman said.

Buses in and out of the Port Authority Bus Terminal were delayed Friday morning due to the crash, officials said.
Due to an accident with injuries at the exit of the center tunnel NYC, buses departing and arriving at the PA Bus Term may experience delays. [82]
