Armed Robbers Steal $50K In Jewels From Midtown Store, Police Say
One of the robbers threatened store customers and workers with a gun while the other shoved merchandise into a bag.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify two men who stole merchandise worth $50,000 during a Midtown Manhattan jewelry heist, police said.
The two robbers entered Maurice Fine Jewelry on Thursday night and robbed the store at gunpoint, police said. One of the men threatened store workers and customers with a firearm while the other stuffed jewelry into a duffle bag, police said.
Both men fled the store together heading east on West 57th Street toward Sixth Avenue, police said. Surveillance video released by police shows the men casually walking away from the robbery scene carrying the bag of stolen jewels.

Nobody was injured during the robbery, police said.
