About the Artists:

Hailed as "a band of world-class soloists...in which egos dissolve and players think, breathe and play as one" (Time Out New York), the Israeli Chamber Project is a dynamic ensemble comprising strings, winds, harp, and piano. Its performances have taken it from The Kennedy and Lincoln Centers to Tokyo's Suntory Hall and Wigmore Hall in London in programs that draw on repertoire from the Eighteenth Century to present day, including specially commissioned arrangements and original works.

Antje Weithaas’ creates highly personal readings of the great masterpieces while placing herself at the service of the composer. She has an extensive repertoire that includes the great concertos, new works, modern classics, and lesser performed concertos. As a soloist, she has worked with the major German radio orchestras as well as numerous major international orchestras. She also is a sought-after conductor for play-conduct projects with international chamber orchestras.
