Car Catches on Fire Near United Nations Building
There was video online of a car catching on fire on East 42nd Street Tuesday afternoon.

The FDNY responded to a car fire Tuesday afternoon right in the middle of Midtown.
Fire official confirmed that a car caught fire outside 253 East 42nd Street at about 2:30 p.m. outside a Five Guys restaurant. A crew was on the scene.
No injuries were reported.

A fire official said the car fire was put out just after 3 p.m.
Video quickly surfaced on Twitter of the incident, and of course people crowding around the car with their cameraphones rolling.
