Chick-Fil-A To Open 2 More Midtown Restaurants
The popular fast food spots will open sometime in 2018 or early 2019 on Eighth Avenue and Lexington Avenue.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Southern chicken fast food restaurant Chick-Fil-A is a relative newcomer to New York City — establishing its first outpost in 205 — but is expanding fast.
Chick-Fil-A plans to open three new full-service restaurants, two in Midtown Manhattan and one in the Flatiron District, in late 2018 or early 2019, the chicken chain announced this week. The new restaurants will be located at 918 Eighth Ave. near West 55th Street, 700 Sixth Ave. near West 23rd Street and 711 Lexington Ave. near East 58th Street, according to a press release.
The three new locations are expected to create 600 jobs, Chick-Fil-A announced.

There are currently six Chik-Fil-A restaurants operating in New York City. Of those six, one is expected to be one of the chain's most visited locations and another is the largest Chick-Fil-A the chain has ever opened. Most of the chain's expansion has been targeted at Manhattan, but there is one Chik-Fil-A located in the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst.
Since the chain expanded to New York City in 2015 the company has hired more than 1,000 people and served millions of customers, according to a press release.
