Chicken Chain Opens Fifth NYC Location In Midtown

Fields Good Chicken's Lexington Avenue and 52nd Street is the company's first opening since 2017.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A New York City-based chicken chain opened its fifth location this week in a new Midtown Manhattan space, the company's founder told Patch.

Fields Good Chicken opened Wednesday at 599 Lexington Ave near East 52nd Street, a company spokesperson said. The Midtown outpost is the first new Fields Good Chicken to open since 2017, founder Field Failing said.

"We're thrilled to join the neighborhood with the debut of our fifth location at 599 Lexington Avenue! This is our first opening since 2017, and we're looking forward to introducing our healthy, oven roasted chicken to new guests in Midtown and the Upper East Side with in-restaurant dining, local delivery, takeout and catering services," Failing said in a statement.

The Lexington Avenue location of Fields Good Chicken will offer the chain's staple menu items such as whole roasted chicken combos with sides such as roasted broccoli and mac & cheese. The new location will also feature special menu items such as maple chipotle smoked chicken wings and the sesame bowl featuring chicken breast, brown rice, broccoli and Brussels slaw. Fields Good Chicken is currently working on getting beer and wine at the location.

The first Fields Good Chicken opened in 2014 in the Financial District. Founder Field Failing opened the business due to a frustration with the country's lack of convenient and nutritious food options. The company donates 1% of its annual sales to support land preservation in the Hudson Valley.
