Man Fatally Shot In Back, Groin In Hell's Kitchen: NYPD

There were no immediate arrests and the investigation was ongoing, police said.

NEW YORK — A man was found fatally shot early Sunday morning in Hell’s Kitchen, according to police.

Officers responded around 4:15 a.m. to West 46th Street and 12th Avenue, where they found Gibson Winters, 39, of Brooklyn, with gunshot wounds to the back and groin, police said.

He was taken to Mt. Sinai Morningside and pronounced dead, according to police, who said there were no immediate arrests and the investigation was ongoing.
