Correction Officer Threatened Stripper Outside Midtown Club: NYPD
The off-duty officer flashed a gun outside a Midtown Manhattan strip club after the dancer refused to go home with him.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A New York City Department of Correction officer if facing charges for threatening a stripper outside of a Midtown club while he was off duty, police said.
Julio Reyes, 39, turned himself into police Saturday for allegedly threatening a dancer at Hoops Cabaret & Sports Bar on July 6, police said. Reyes is accused of approaching the dancer outside of the club at 6 a.m. as she was getting into a car and pulling a gun on her, police said.
The threat was made after the dancer refused to go home with Reyes after her shift, police said.

No shots were fired and the dancer was not injured, police said. Reyes was charged with a misdemeanor for menacing and arraigned Saturday, according to court records.
Reyes' bail was set at $1,000 cash or bond, according to court records. His next appearance in court is scheduled for September.
