Man Flashes Young Woman On Midtown Train: NYPD

MIDTOWN, NY — A man exposed himself to a young straphanger — and performed a lewd act — on a downtown E train earlier this month, according to police.

On Oct. 2, a man sat down across from a 20-year-old woman riding the train at about 8:30 p.m. and suddenly exposed his genitals, officials said.

The man then performed a lewd act before exiting the train at 42 Street/Port Authority, according to police, and fled in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Officials released an image of the suspected lewd man.
