Death Of Homeless Man In Midtown Declared Homicide, Police Say
Police declared the man's death a homicide seven months after his body was found.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Police believe a homeless man who was found dead in Midtown Manhattan seventh months ago was killed, an NYPD spokesperson said.
The NYPD declared the death of 34-year-old Orvin Bennett a homicide this week. Bennett was found unconscious and suffering a head wound on the morning of July 8 in front of a building on West 38th Street between 10th and 11th avenues.
Medics declared Bennett dead at the scene when he was found, police said.

No arrests have been made in connection with the man's death and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
