Exhibit Featuring Jewish Artifacts Comes To Midtown

"Witness to History" will be on display for three days at the Chabad of Midtown.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A traveling museum exhibit featuring Jewish artifacts dating back to ancient times will be on display in Midtown Manhattan for three days.

"Witness to History" will be setting up shop in the Chabad of Midtown, located on Fifth avenue between 42nd and 43rd streets, from June 11 to June 14. Rabbi Reuven Goldstein curates the exhibit and takes it on tours of the country in order to tell the stories of Jewish history, according to a press release.

Some highlights from the exhibit include coins minted in Israel following Jewish liberation from Roman Empire in 67 CE, coins printed in the Lodz Ghetto after Nazis confiscated Jewish money and historic versions of the Talmud.

The artifacts and relics on display will span 4,000 years of Jewish history, according to a press release.

The exhibit will be completely open to the public, according to a press release. Witness to History will be open from 7-9 p.m. on June 11, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on June 12 and 9-11 a.m. on June 13, according to a press release.
