Fire Erupts In Midtown Chipotle Kitchen: FDNY
A fire broke out inside the West 56th Street location of the popular burrito spot on Sunday, officials said.

MIDTOWN, NY — A fire broke out inside the kitchen of a Midtown Chipotle on Sunday, officials said.
At about 8 p.m., firefighters responded to a fire inside a Chipotle at 235 West 56th St., near Broadway, the fire department said.
Nearly 80 firefighters showed up to battle the first floor kitchen fire before it could spread to the rest of the 44-story building, said a FDNY spokesperson.

At just before 9 p.m., the flames were fully doused and under control, officials said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the blaze is still under investigation, according to the fire department.
