Firefighter Arrested For Taking Upskirt Photos In Midtown: Police

The off-duty firefighter tried to break and ditch his phone before cops tracked him down.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A New York City firefighter is facing charges for his disturbing off-duty behavior after being arrested for taking photos up a woman's dress in Midtown Manhattan, police said.

Gary Pandolfino, 46, was spotted using his phone to look up a woman's dress at the Lexington Avenue and 59th Street subway station around 9 p.m. Thursday night, police said. When a witness confronted Pandolfino, he tried to run away, said police.

Pandolfino broke his phone and tried to stash the pieces in a trash can, but the witness was able to notify nearby police officers who arrested the creepy firefighter, police said.

Pandolfino was ultimately charged with unlawful surveillance, police said.
