MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A new daily concert series has popped up along 34th Street in Midtown, aiming to restore to the corridor some of its pre-pandemic liveliness.
Twice every weekday through the end of August, Terry Waldo’s Gotham City Band is performing jazz, ragtime and blues at a few locations along 34th Street, including Herald and Greeley Square Parks.
The concerts happen from 12:30-2 p.m. and again from 4:30-6 p.m., Monday-Friday through Aug. 31. A full schedule is available via the 34th Street Partnership, which organized the "Midtown Music" series.
