MIDTOWN, NY — A man who's been on the run since fleeing a Midtown Manhattan parole office last month has been arrested in Connecticut, police said.

Travis Simon, 30, fled the West 40th Street office on February 27 after being told he was being sent to a 45-day program for violating parole.

He'd been released from prison earlier that month after being sentenced to seven years in prison for a 2011 slashing of a man in Harlem, state officials said. He was on parole until 2022.
