Garment District Bakery Opens Second Location In Midtown
Angelina Bakery, which opened in 2019, offers baked goods made using recipes originating from Italy.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — An Italian bakery based in the Garment District opened its second location this week, taking a step toward a larger-scale expansion of the business, a spokesperson for the bakery said.
Angelina Bakery's new location opened Wednesday at 1425 Sixth Avenue between West 58th Street and Central Park South. Business owners described the new bakery as "ideal" for a quick breakfast, coffee or treat that will appeal to both tourists and locals.
"The road to expansion for Angelina Bakery kicks-off with its new grab & go boutique in the office-dense and high-end residential district of Central Park South, minutes from The Plaza Hotel, Carnegie Hall, and Columbus Circle," a spokesperson for the business said.

Angelina opened its first location in April and quickly found success with its recipes originating from Italy. The shop is known for homemade desserts such as bomboloni doughnuts that comes with a wide variety of fillings such as Nutella, cream, pistachio and green tea. The business also offers bakery staples such as cheescake, decorated holiday cakes and fruit tarts.
The Central Park location of Angelina Bakery will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to business owners.
