Grumpy Cat Comes to Broadway's Cats for Only One Night
The surly Internet sensation will be featured at the end of the classic musical this Friday.

MIDTOWN, NY — Do Grumpy Cats and Jellicle cats get along? Some lucky audience members will find out Friday night. The Internet star Grumpy Cat is going to be featured just for one night, Friday, in the Broadway revival of Cats, she announced through her Twitter Thursday. The 4-year-old cat, whose real name is Tardar Sauce, could cause a jump in ticket sales for the revival of the Andrew Lloyd Musical musical. So far, the revival has gotten mixed reviews.
Ms. Sauce has an underbite and a condition called feline dwarfism, which is what causes her face to look very angry all the time. You've definitely seen her featured in memes about hating the world.
"Being selected as the first real cat in Cats on Broadway is an honor. I hate it," she "said." "If I'm really being honest, I'd prefer to play the Phantom."

A spokesperson for Cats told the Associated Press that Grumpy Cat will be incorporated into the end of the show, so that means you'll have to stay to the end if you really want to see her pout IRL. Get tickets now if you want to make some Grumpy Cat "memories."
