'Hamilton' Spoof 'Spamilton' Offers Different Take On Broadway Hit
Can't get tickets to "Hamilton?" Try "Spamilton."

MIDTOWN, MANHATTAN — Can't afford to shell out $500 for "Hamilton?" Enter "Spamilton," stage right.
The next best thing to the massive Broadway hit is playing just blocks away – for a fraction of the ticket price.
Off-Broadway playwright Gerard Alessandrini came up with alternative take on “Hamilton,” intending to simultaneously poke fun at and celebrate Lin Manuel Miranda’s Tony-winning production. The spoof debuted June 20 at the 47th Street Theatre at 304 W 47th St.

The play’s plot centers on a young upstart, described as part Alexander Hamilton and part Miranda, who is out to save Broadway from mediocrity.
The cast of “Spamilton” includes lead actor Chris Anthony Giles alongside Nicole Vanessa Ortiz, Aaron Michael Ray, Dan Rosales and Tristan J. Shula.

Performances will be held through Sept. 3, and tickets can be purchased through Theater Mania.
