Hell's Kitchen's Newest 'Ghost Kitchen' Puts 4 Eateries In One
Four new food options have opened their doors in Hell's Kitchen — and they're all contained within the same kitchen.
HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — Four new food options have opened their doors in Hell's Kitchen — and they're all under the same roof.
Swift Eats opened last week on Ninth Avenue near West 43rd Street. Of its four food "concepts," three are so-called ghost kitchens: the restaurant-industry trend in which an eatery has no storefront space and serves up all its meals to-go.
The lone front-of-house restaurant is Swift Salad, a Sweetgreen-style salad bar whose menu caters to the neighborhood's need "for healthier, affordable lunch and dinner options," organizers said in a news release.

The other three brands are Swift Taco, Swift Mezze and Swift Wings, which serve up Mexican, Greek food and a variety of meat and vegetable wings, respectively. All four are now open for walk-in, carry-out and delivery. (The delivery zone spans between West 23rd and 72nd streets.)

Swift Eats is the brainchild of a restaurant group of the same name, which has helped get other restaurants off the ground since its 2019 founding. The company's stated priorities include locally sourced food and limited waste, including the use of biodegradable materials.

"As a Hell's Kitchen resident for over 10 years, it is very exciting for me to open a business in a neighborhood that I love for people that I respect," said Jeff Kaplow, who co-owns the company along with Brandon Mohammed.
Swift Eats is open daily from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. at 609 Ninth Ave.
