Indonesian National Found After Going Missing In NYC, Police Say

The man' disappeared after leaving his room at the East Midtown Marriott Hotel on New Year's Day.

Update: Isak Parlinggoman of Indonesia was found and is safe, an NYPD spokesman told Patch. He had been reported missing after leaving his room at the East Midtown Marriott Hotel on New Year's Day.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD are searching for an Indonesian national who went missing on New Year's Day while visiting New York City, police said.

Isak Parlinggoman, 44, was last seen around 2 a.m. on Jan. 1 as he left his room at the East Midtown Marriott Hotel on Lexington Avenue between East 48th and 49th streets, police said. Parlinggoman never returned to the hotel, police said.

The missing man is described as standing about 5-foot-7 and weighing around 170 pounds, police said. He has brown eyes, black hair and was last seen wearing a jacket with an American flag design.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
