Man Dies During Hell's Kitchen Police Chase, NYPD Says
The man suffered a "medical episode" Thursday morning while running from cops.

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — A man died Thursday morning while being chased by police officers in Hell's Kitchen, an NYPD spokesman said.
Officers responded to a call of an emotionally disturbed person lying in the roadway at West 52nd Street and 11th Avenue around 3 a.m. to find a 25-year-old man "acting erratically," police said. When officers went to approach the man he fled the area by heading down west 51st Street, prompting officers to chase after him, police said.
The man got about halfway down the block when he stopped, suffered a "medical episode," and fell to the ground, police said. EMS rushed the man to Mount Sinai West Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
