MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A man was struck and killed by a subway train at the Grand Central-42nd Street station on Tuesday, police said.
The collision happened at 1 p.m. when a southbound 7 train hit the man, who had apparently been in the tunnel near the platform, according to police.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was apparently homeless and had no identification, so police are using other means to determine his identity, an NYPD spokesperson said.
