Man Hit By Train At 34th Street; Subways Rerouted
A man jumped in front of a train at 34th Street–Penn Station on Friday, police said. Subways were being rerouted.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A man jumped in front of a train Friday afternoon at 34th Street–Penn Station, authorities said.
The incident happened around 2:38 p.m. and involved an E train, according to police. The man's condition was not immediately known.
Southbound C and E trains were running express between 59th Street and 42nd Street while crews responded, the MTA said. A trains were also delayed while they shared the express track.
